A distribution board is one of those things you install and then forget about. You bought one, installed it, and your part is done. Now it sits on the wall, does its job quietly, and the last thing you expect is for the box itself to start falling apart. But plenty of boards installed outdoors don't make it — the plastic cracks, the seals fail, and suddenly you're replacing a board that should have lasted decades. But why does it happen?
